Injection moulding robot set down
PROBLEM
Static charges on injection moulded components being stacked by a pick and place robot can result in
- Attraction of airborne contamination
- Products repelling from the stack and stack height variance, resulting in damage or stacks falling over
- Electrostatic shocks to operators handling the product during the packing process
SOLUTION
Positioning a Meech Hyperion bar over the end of the conveyor neutralises the charges on all faces of the product as it is delivered. This:
- prevents contamination attraction,
- prevents product repelling from each other
- Prevents operators from charging to then receive electrostatic shock when touching metalwork
