PROBLEM

Static charges generated on the fibre optic filament can causes the coating of the filament not to bond exposing pin holes or weaknesses in the coating.

SOLUTION  

Installing a Meech Hyperion bar prior to the coating head, removes the static charges allowing for a uniform coating to be applied to the optical fibre.
