PROBLEM

Static charges on substrates during processing can result in: 

• Attraction of contamination to the material 

• Static shocks to operators 
• Burn damage to materials from static discharges 

SOLUTION

Controlling the static charges during rewinding is key to providing materials fit for purpose.  

The use of the Hyperion high-speed short-range static bars controls the static charges to a minimum during the rewinding process.
