Horizontal bagging

Static control on horizontal bag filling machine

PROBLEM

Static charges generated on the unwinding film builds up. The film is formed into bags before being filled. Failure to neutralising the material prior to folding, traps all the static charges onside the material.

Subsequent processes will generate greater static charges, these charges will hold the bag shut, preventing product from dropping to the bottom.

Product that creates dust, the dust will transfer to the bag, preventing the bag from being sealed, allowing the product to spill or spoil when packed.

SOLUTION

Neutralising the film prior to the folding process and again at the point of filling, will prevent packing and sealing issues.

924IPS bars mounted before the fold and as the bag is opened at the filling station, provide the solution to this issue.
