Plant impurity removal

PROBLEM

Removal of stems and other impurities from plant matter during processing or tea, cannabis or other foliage and be time consuming and expensive. This can also affect the quality by creating excessive amounts of waste dust due to sieving processes.

SOLUTION

Applying an electrostatic charge to the product as it feeds onto a grounded roller, causes the material to stick to the roller. Weakening the static charge by an adjustable induction electrode, will result in larger particles and conductive contamination to fall as the drum rotates. Heavier larger particles will fall off next, with dust and very small fines required to be removed with a brush or doctor blade.

Neutralising the particles as the drop, prevents them from sticking and building up on machine surfaces.
