Seam welded bags

PROBLEM

When two wide webs are used to form bags on a roll, this can require a slitting and welding process. Alignment of the webs so a weld can be completed, my result in the webs separating during welding. Static pinning of the material will cause issues with bag opening.

SOLUTION

Using localised static pinning along the seam offers a solution to web alignment, and web separation, while allowing the bags to open easily for automated packing processes. The static charges to the 995 pinning heads is produced by the static generator.
