Vinyl record pinning for cutting

PROBLEM

The automated disc cutting process requires the vinyl disc to be easily removed but not slip on the turn table during cutting. Automating the3 disc loading and removal by robot and holding the disc to the turn table without adding weights slowing down the rotation speed and increasing wear causes issue. 

SOLUTION

Using electrostatic pinning increasing adhesion between the turn table and disc being cut offers a flexible efficient solution.  

Small pinning heads minimises the area being charges while offering quick and efficient disc changes without disc slip.
