The Meech Cabinet Cooler uses compressed air to provide a cold air source that stops industrial cabinets/panels or enclosures from overheating.

This IP66 rated model is both dust and watertight. Meaning water projected in powerful jets against the enclosure, from any direction, shall have no harmful effects.

Prior to the IP test the Cabinet Cooler was also subjected to three climatic pre-conditioning tests. These tests proved the integrity of the Cabinet Cooler after it had been subjected to temperatures of 90°C for a duration of 672 hours. Following this the cooler was subjected to further temperature endurance test. These tests were carried out in
accordance with IEC60079-0:2017.

The Cabinet Cooler has no electrical/electronic components making them entirely non-electrical. The cooling is provided from a Vortex Tube located inside the cooler. The Cabinet Cooler creates both a hot and cold stream of air, the cold air is directed inside the enclosure whilst the hot air is released to the atmosphere via two holes located on the side of the Cabinet Cooler.

The device is supplied with 4 x Generators that are used to regulate both the air consumption and air temperature. The Yellow 10CFM, Red 15CFM, Blue 25CFM and Brown 35CFM Generators can be easily switched to suit different conditions or applications.

The Cooler can be mounted to the directly to the top, side or underneath of the enclosure via a 26mm diameter hole. An O-ring seal between the Cabinet Cooler and the enclosure wall maintains the integrity of the enclosure.

The Cabinet Cooler is available in both Stainless Steel grades 303 and 316L, allowing it to be used in a wide variety of applications. A Cabinet Cooler System is also available, this includes a digital thermostat and Solenoid valve and allows the cooler to automatically maintain a set temperature. This reduces compressed air and running costs.
