Meech International will reaffirm its position as the world’s leading supplier of electrostatic control and web cleaning technologies at Emballage 2014 (November 17-20, Paris). Visitors to booth 6B087 can experience first-hand the complete range of systems, including Hyperion ionization bars and the CyClean™ non-contact web cleaner, as well as several new products. All of these products are widely used in the packaging industry.
David Rogers, Head of Electrostatic Control at Meech International, explains: “We are very pleased to be represented at Emballage this year. Meech is aware that the packaging market is growing faster and faster each year, and the exhibition always attracts an international audience. In this context, Emballage is not only an excellent opportunity to introduce new products, but it also serves as a platform where we can make new contacts and market our services to a variety of international companies.”
Over the past few decades, Meech has successfully established a strong presence in the global electrostatic testing and belt cleaning markets. In addition to the UK, the company also has branches in Belgium, the US, China, India, and Eastern Europe, which directly serve these regions. Furthermore, Meech’s UK headquarters supports an even larger number of countries worldwide, including Brazil, Israel, Australia, Japan, and South Korea. All of this international reach has led to Meech being awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise: International Sales twice.
“Our strong international presence demonstrates our ability to provide best practices and services to our many customers located in various parts of the world,” explains David. “Since we are constantly trying to expand our operations in all the regions we cover, we would like to use the popularity of the exhibition and show that we can offer the best levels of service and technology to our customers and potential customers, who have now become synonymous with the Meech brand.”
Among the systems showcased at the Meech booth is the CyClean™, a product that has proven highly popular in the packaging industry. As a compact, non-contact, double-sided tape cleaner based on blown airflow and vacuum, the CyClean™ can remove contaminants smaller than 1 micron and can be used with all substrates, enhancing machine flexibility. Unlike adhesive roller systems, it is unaffected by high levels of contamination, and there are no consumable costs.
In addition, the full range of Hyperion ionization bars will be on display, including the 971, 971IPS, and 929IPS. The latter two, in particular, were developed in response to customer feedback and ensure efficient ionization with a 24V power supply. Both systems offer powerful electrostatic control, and the bars’ default settings allow for quick and easy installation and operation on production lines.
“L’Emballage will be an excellent opportunity for Meech,” David concluded. “We will be showcasing to an international audience the most comprehensive range of belt cleaning products and electrostatic control technologies we offer, and we are confident it will generate significant interest at the exhibition.”
Meech’s complete range of electrostatic control and belt cleaning products will be on display at the Meech booth (6B087) at L’Emballage, Paris, from November 17 to 20, 2014.
