A chocolate cup comprises both an upper layer of light chocolate and a lower layer of dark chocolate. When the second chocolate layer is injected into the mould, the following problems can occur:
- Where the two chocolates are charged to the same polarity, the second layer is repelled powerfully. This can lead to production being stopped.
- Where the two chocolates are charged to opposite polarities, the second layer fills too quickly. This can lead to an uneven, aesthetically unacceptable border between the two layers, resulting in high levels of waste.
Installation of a Meech Hyperion 929IPS Bar will neutralise static charges on the moulds and layers of chocolate during the filling process. This will allow the chocolate layer to settle providing an aesthetically pleasing finish, while reducing the need to scrap product.Download
