Controlling Static Discharges During Paper & Board Manufacture

Problem

A calendar drying and pressing paper generates static charges, which if not controlled will result in sparks. These sparks lead to the risk of the paper dust igniting and causing fires.

Solution

The use of Meech 915 systems will neutralise the static charges removing the risk of fires from static discharges.
