Off-line die cutter

PROBLEM

  • Static charges during unwinding will attract contamination from atmosphere and machine frames
  • Separation of waste material from the silicone release liner will generate large static charges
  • Rewinding the finished label stock will generate static charges on each layer increasing the accumulative charges as the roll increases in diameter.

SOLUTION

Controlling static charges as the roll unwinds using a high-powered long-range Hyperion bar prevents the attraction of contamination.

Controlling static charges at the point of separation of the waste material using a short-range high-speed Hyperion bar controls the static charges generated on both the waste and final product.

The use of a long-range high-powered Hyperion bar controls the build up of static charges on the rewinding roll preventing customer complaints, attraction of contamination, operator shocks and material damage.
