PDC Head Vial Cleaning

PROBLEM

  • Nitrogen is used to clean and purge vials prior to filling. Static charges generated on the vials during conveying prevent the nitrogen from dislodging the contamination.
  • As this application is governed by FCA regulations, and cleaning with Hydrogen Peroxide any ionising equipment’s used should be compliant with FCA regulations.

Controlling the static charges is the key to overcoming these issues.

SOLUTION

The Meech PDC heads are manufactured from FCA compliant materials. The compact profile allows ionisation to be introduced into the nitrogen flow, controlling the static charges allowing the nitrogen to clean the vials.
