Plastic slatted conveyor
PROBLEM
Metal cans traveling on slatted conveyors are prone to absorbing static charges and storing them. Operators in contact or near proximity to the cans will receive the capacitive charges stored in the metal.
In severe cases this can result in skin burns and accidents, requiring line shutdowns and health and safety audits.
SOLUTION
Neutralising the static charges on the cans periodically along the conveyor, enables the level of static charge to be controlled to a minimal level. The longer the conveyor line the more static control will be required.
