Vial Filling

PROBLEM

  • Static charges generated on the vials from the conveyor results in liquid droplets being attracted to the vial closure, resulting in sealing isssues. The static charges on the glass vials will result in mis-weighting.
  • As this application is governed by FCA regulations, and cleaning with Hydrogen Peroxide any ionising equipment’s used should be compliant with FCA regulations.

Controlling the static charges is the key to overcoming these issues.

SOLUTION

A Meech Hygiene bar mounted before the filling head offers a successful way of neutralising the vials, preventing mis-weighting and sealing issues.
