Window patcher

PROBLEM

Cellophane and other materials used to create windows in packaging boxes and envelopes generate static charges as they unwind from the roll.

The rotary knife will generate high static charges on the lead and tail ends of the film. This will cause the film to stick to the knife and rollers, resulting in machine stoppages and loss of production.

SOLUTION
Mounting a Meech high powered short range IPS bar prior to the web entering the path rollers and knife cylinder, will neutralise the static charges on the material and prevent it from sticking to the vacuum drums.
