Meech International (Hall A6 – Stand 330) is giving an exclusive preview of its new HyperionTM IonCharge 30 and IonCharge 50 static generators and HyperionTM929IPS v2 mid-range Pulsed DC Ionising Bar at ICE Europe 2019. These latest innovations from Meech, due to be officially launched in the second quarter of 2019, are accompanied by the company’s industry 4.0 solution, SmartControl, and its wide range of web cleaning and static control equipment.
“Meech is delighted to be exhibiting at ICE once again,” says Ralph Simon, Area Manager at Meech. “The event provides us with the perfect platform to present our newest and most popular innovations to an international printing, converting and plastics audience.”
The HyperionTM IonCharge 30 and IonCharge 50 are upgrades of Meech’s 992V3 30kV and 50kV generators respectively. Both versatile and technologically advanced, IonCharge 30 is compact and simple to install, while IonCharge 50 is Meech’s most powerful static generator. Combined with Meech’s range of static generator bars and pinning heads, these new generators are suitable for use within a range of applications that require temporary bonding of materials.
“Via their advanced controls, these generators deliver excellent performance, reliable connectivity and ease of use,” adds Simon. “They are compatible with existing PLC networks and their touch screen interfaces allow for the monitoring and alteration of their performance.”
Meech’s new mid-range, Pulsed DC Ionising Bar, HyperionTM 929IPS v2, possesses extremely powerful ionisation and provides 50% greater maximum working distance than the previous model. Versatile and simple to install, Meech’s latest static bar has fully adjustable voltage, frequency and balance, making it ideal for usage within a multitude of applications.
Simons says: “The class leading Hyperion 929IPS v2 retains all the features of its predecessor, such as Meech’s Ion Current Monitoring technology, which ensures performance is maintained and that local and remote alerts signal when the bar needs to be cleaned.”
Accompanying the new 929IPS v2 are current HyperionTM static bars 924IPS, 929IPS and 971IPS, which are suited to short, medium and long-range applications respectively. All of these bars can be controlled via Meech’s latest Industry 4.0 solution, HyperionTM SmartControl.
SmartControl gives operators access to static bar performance information on a fixed or remote device and enables them to adjust the operating settings to achieve maximum productivity and maximum quality of output. Connected devices can be altered quickly and easily via remote monitoring and control through mobile devices, which allow operators to make alterations and adjustment to up to six static control devices.
“Meech recognises that automation is making big strides in the converting industry,” continues Simon. “SmartControl is our answer to the need for more control and visibility on production lines. Operators need to understand how its applications are functioning, while making quick and decisive changes wherever and whenever the need is greatest.”
Meech’s comprehensive range of web cleaners are also on display at its stand. The CyCleanTM and ShearCleanTM will be demonstrating their non-contact cleaning capabilities, alongside contact cleaners TakCleanTM and VacCleanTM.
Simon concludes: “The Meech stand has an abundance of products on display that can help companies in the converting, printing and plastics industries to improve their productivity, while also tackling issues related to contamination and machinery misbehaviour.
“Our staff are on hand to answer any questions and explain how these innovations from Meech can help businesses maintain a profitable operation and reduce wastage in their facilities.”
