PROBLEM

Thin or sensitive materials require low tension to prevent damage. Cleaning these materials while limiting the risk of stretching of contact damage at process speeds require controlling the web while the material removing contamination. 

SOLUTION

The Meech CyClean “R” web cleaning system is a single- or double-sided cleaning process.  

Using high performance ionisation to control static charges, high pressure air flows to break down boundary airflows and lift contamination from the material surface. 

Vacuum and containment to remove and filter the contamination from the recirculated airflows.
