Collating sheeting machine
PROBLEM
- Static charges between sheets being fed from a stack can result in multiple seed feeing issues.
- Static charges can be regenerated during the collation process, resulting in a build up of static charges within the stack, making problems in the next production process.
Controlling the static charges is the key to overcoming these issues.
SOLUTION
The use of Meech ionising nozzles to introduce ionised air between the sheets helps separate them allowing for single page delivery.
Installing a Meech ionising IPS bar at the end of the collation stage prior to the stack, controls the static charges preventing feeding issues at the next process.
