The Hyperion 906 Power Unit is the latest addition to Meech’s Hyperion range (superseding the 904/905), which provides the voltage required to produce ionisation for our range of AC static eliminator bars.
Traditionally, power units have an AC supply which can be susceptible to voltage fluctuations, sags, and surges. Utilising a 24VDC supply is a significant step forward in this respect, offering improved stability, reliability, and compatibility with modern control systems.
The 906 Power Unit has an adjustable (via BarMaster or SmartControl Touch) output voltage of 2-7kVAC and can power up to four bars simultaneously, making it suitable on a wide range of industrial processes and static eliminator applications.
For fast and easy connectivity, the 906 requires a 24VDC input from either a 48W switch mode or 4 pin M8 power cable (if powering directly from 24V feed).
The 906 also offers several key features detailed in the features section below. These include a unique design to allow automated manufacture for increased reliability and extended product life. To ensure a high level of operator safety, the 906 features a short circuit current of <5mA.
We also offer the 906 Power Unit in two other versions for use with products intended for hazardous locations; 906HL 5kV and 906HL 7kV. These are specifically designed for use with our 914EX and 915EX Static Eliminator bars respectively.
