Narrow web printing

PROBLEM

Static charges on materials in narrow web printing can result in issues, these may include:

• Attraction of dust to the substrate 
• Print plate contamination 
• Poor print quality 

SOLUTION

The use of a powerful Hyperion ioniser is critical to prevent the attraction of contamination. Areas to control would be immediately after corona treatment, after ink curing, and after die cutter during roll rewinding 

Balancing the ± ionising field, the IPS bar is ideally suited where metallised stock is being printed.
