Lier, Belgium, February 15, 2017 With decades of experience in the label and converting sectors, Meech International will share its wealth of technical and application knowledge in web cleaning and static control during live demonstrations and the Technical Conference Program at the Xeikon Café Packaging Innovations 2017 (www.xeikoncafe.com), set for 28 to 31 March.

For their third visit of the highly popular Xeikon Café Meech will focus on the significance of Static Control and maintaining a clean web in digital printing. Meech solutions will be included in live demonstrations of folding carton and IML applications, and Donald Lewis, Business Development Manager of Meech will share valuable knowledge in the “Web Cleaning & Static Control solutions for Digital Production” session of the educational Xeikon Café Technical Conference Program.

Ralph Simon, Area Manager of Meech International is pleased to be part of the Xeikon Café: “Being a Xeikon Aura partner for several years, we are looking forward to another edition of the Xeikon Café. We have been part of the previous Cafés, and participating in the 2017 edition was a decision easily made. The Xeikon Café is a familiar, informal and educational networking event and ideal opportunity to address the web cleaning and static control needs of the digital printing industry. Visitors can experience first-hand our solutions during live demonstrations on the printing machines. We are excited to meet with them, network and learn interesting things about the industry.”

Meech International brings CyClean™ to Xeikon Café

On show will be the CyClean™ web cleaner, designed in response to increased demand for a compact, high performance, non-contact system. Ideal for high-speed presses and with an ability to handle virtually any substrate, CyClean improves the flexibility of the press and ensures spotless webs are maintained. With no consumable costs, it is capable of removing contamination to below 1 micron and incorporates fluid dynamic principles to provide higher levels of cleanliness for digital print applications.

Unchecked, static electricity can cause productivity, quality and safety problems. Meech will show its revolutionary Hyperion DC range that provides static control in virtually every production situation. The 924IPS and 929IPS antistatic bars are both powered by 24V DC, feature Meech’s Ion Current Monitoring (ICM) technology that provides local and remote alerts when the bars need cleaning. They also incorporate adjustable performance settings including polarity, frequency and output voltage.
