The CyClean™-R Non-Contact Web Cleaning System delivers a compact solution that removes contamination from webs running over a roller, making it ideal for applications with low-tension materials.
Firstly, CyClean‑R is designed to be positioned directly on the roller where web tension is highest, thereby overcoming low‑tension challenges. Using industry-leading Hyperion™ 924IPS Short-Range Ionising Bars, CyClean-R neutralises static charges and disrupts the boundary layer that allows particles to cling to the web surface. Subsequently, it applies controlled micro-movements and turbulent airflow to loosen debris before efficiently extracting it into the integrated Air Handling Unit (AHU). Finally, the system filters and removes contaminants, achieving particle removal down to 0.5 micron.
Furthermore, the versatile design of the CyClean™-R Non-Contact Web Cleaning System supports a wide range of configurations to suit different applications. For example, narrow web systems (200–699mm) with fixed, manual lift or manual tilt openings. Also, mid web systems are available as fixed configurations with top‑feed or end‑feed options. Additionally, for wide web applications (1300mm–4000mm), CyClean‑R offers fixed or pneumatic tilt opening designs with a carapace structure for enhanced rigidity. The system comes as a single‑sided cleaner, with a double‑sided configuration available if required.
