The IP66 EX Cabinet Cooler is suitable for cooling cabinet/panels in hazardous locations.

The Meech EX Cabinet Cooler uses compressed air to provide a cold air source that stops industrial cabinets/panels or enclosures in hazardous locations from overheating. The Meech EX Cabinet Cooler is suitable for installation in category 2 (Zone 1), T4 locations, where ATEX or IECEx certification is required.

This IP66 rated model is both dust tight and protected against powerful water jets. Meaning water projected in powerful jets against the enclosure from any direction shall have no harmful effects.

Prior to the IP test the Cabinet Cooler was also subjected to three climatic pre-conditioning tests. These tests proved the integrity of the Cabinet Cooler after it had been subjected to temperatures of 90°C for a duration of 672 hours. Following this the cooler was subjected to further temperature endurance test. These tests were carried out in accordance with IEC60079-0:2017.

The Cabinet Cooler has no electrical/electronic components making them entirely non-electrical. The cooling is provided from a Vortex Tube located inside the cooler. The Cabinet Cooler creates both a hot and cold stream of air, the cold air is directed inside the enclosure whilst the hot air is released to the atmosphere via two holes located in the side of the Cabinet Cooler.

The device is supplied with 4 x Generators that are used to regulate both the air consumption and air temperature. The Yellow 10CFM, Red 15CFM, Blue 25CFM and Brown 35CFM Generators can be easily switched to suit different conditions or applications.

The Cooler can be mounted to the directly to the top, side or underneath of the enclosure via a 26mm diameter hole. An O-ring seal between the Cabinet Cooler and the enclosure wall maintains the integrity of the enclosure. This model Cabinet Cooler is IP66 rated.

The Cabinet Cooler is available in both Stainless Steel grades 303 and 316, allowing it to be used in a wide variety of applications.

Hyperion 971IPS-30 Extra Long-Range Pulsed DC Ionising Bar

The Meech 971IPS-30 Extra Long-Range Pulsed DC Ionising Bar is the latest addition to the Meech Hyperion Range.

The 971IPS-30 is powered by an integrated +/- 30kV 24V DC power supply, making it the most powerful ionising bar in Meech’s range.

The 971IPS-30 is suitable for ultra-long range applications from 450 to 1500mm.

Equipped with Meech’s Ion Current Monitoring (ICM) technology, beam performance is maintained with local and remote alarms indicating when the beam needs cleaning. The Hyperion BarMaster remote programmer can also be used to adjust the frequency and balance of the bar, optimizing it for each application.

Hyperion 959IPS Ionising Air Curtain

The Hyperion 959IPS ionising air curtain is an extremely versatile product that provides effective static neutralisation and dust removal for a wide range of industrial applications.

The unit comprises a Hyperion 924IPS mounted on a Meech energy saving air curtain. Combined they provide a high speed laminar sheet of ionised air.

As with other Hyperion products, the 959IPS features Meech’s Ion Current Monitoring (ICM) technology, which ensures performance is maintained with local and remote alerts when the bar needs cleaning.

Fully BarMaster compatible, the frequency and balance can be adjusted to optimise performance.

Small Coldstream Air Gun

The Meech Small Coldstream Air Gun comprises of a small Vortex Tube, hot and cold-end silencers and a length of flexible knuckle trunking.

The Small Coldstream Air Gun is specially designed for smaller, more delicate applications that require less air flow. The Small Coldstream Air Gun is supplied with both the yellow 8cfm high fraction generator and the green 8cfm low fraction generator.

Small Vortex Tube

Like the medium version, the Meech Small Vortex Tube converts compressed air into two air flows, one very cold the other very hot. Temperature drops can be up to 50°C below the inlet compressed air temperature, whilst the hot air can be up to 50°C above the inlet air temperature.

Small Vortex Tubes are specially designed for smaller, more delicate applications that require less air flow. The Small Vortex Tube is supplied with either a yellow 8cfm high fraction generator, or a green 8cfm low fraction generator.

Switchmode Power Adaptor 15W

Meech offer a suitable Switchmode Power Adaptor for the Hyperion 924IPS, 924IPSv2, 314IPS, 960IPS and 971IPS-30 and 650QAC Bars.

The Switchmode Power Adaptor takes the local electricity supply and converts it into a stable and filtered 24V DC output. The adapter is very versatile, accepting a wide range of input voltages from 100V to 240V AC and either 47 or 63 Hz.

Hydra Splitters

Hydra splitters are used in Hydra In Mould Label pinning systems to connect multiple Hydra distributors to a single high voltage generator. This is often required on injection mould tools with multiple impressions.

Simple screwed connections are easily made without the need for tools. This allows rapid reconnection of new pinning systems during tool changes.

The Hydra splitters are available in 2, 4, 6 and 8 way versions.

The 261v2 -1/4 Flexi Nozzle is designed for use with Meech Pulsed DC Controllers and is suitable for installation into machinery and equipment in both industrial and electronics environments. It is particularly suited to high speed applications such as sheet delivery systems.

The addition of flexible knuckle trunking enables the system to deliver ionised air with accuracy into “difficult to reach” places, where conventional systems would be ineffective or impossible to install.

261v2 – BULKHEAD Ion Nozzle

Meech’s Model 261v2-Bulkhead Nozzle provides an easy way to inject ionised air into ducting or enclosures. Compressed air is connected using the 6mm push-fit inlet fitting. The nozzle is mounted through the wall of the duct or enclosure using a threaded boss, pushed through from the inside of the duct.

The nozzle is frequently used to neutralise materials in air-conveying systems to prevent blockages.

261v2-¼OUT Ion Nozzle

Meech’s Model 261v2-1/4OUT Ion Nozzle is a small, robust in-line ioniser. A 6mm push–fit connection and ¼” bsp outlet connection allow integration into existing plastic pipe work.

When used in automated cleaning machinery, the 261v2-1/4OUT ionises the airflow that is then used to clean and neutralise containers and components.

Meech’s Model 261v2 Ion Nozzle is a small, robust ioniser. It is suitable for installation into machinery and equipment used within industrial and cleanroom environments; providing fast static control and excellent dust removal.  It is quick to install, using the optional mounting bracket. It is safe to use and meets OSHA dead-end pressure requirements.

BarMaster Programmer

The BarMaster Programmer, part of our latest, revolutionary Hyperion™ range, brings another level of static control. It features a control unit with an LCD screen that provides information from a connected Hyperion™ product so operators can easily change and monitor status and parameters. The hand-held programmer is portable and temporarily connects inline with the 24V power supply directly to a Hyperion™ device, removing the need for extra cables. This allows operators to move easily between devices and simplifies the connection. Once programming is complete, operators disconnect the BarMaster Programmer. When they re-power the Hyperion™ device, it operates with the new programmed settings.

The port on the Programmer supports the connection of any current or future Hyperion™ product, ensuring a future-proof solution for your static control setup.
